今週はノーベル賞ウィークです。今夕の医学・生理学賞から始まって、以下の予定で受賞者が公表されます。経済学賞はちょうど1週間後の来週月曜日です。

私も、年齢なりに雑学には通じていても、さすがにノーベル賞クラスになると、専門外の分野はサッパリです。ひょっとしたら、専門の経済学でもついていけないところもあったりします。ということで、Clarivateからノーベル賞予想とも称される引用栄誉賞が明らかにされています。医学・生理学で東大の中村祐輔教授が、化学で同じく東大の藤田誠教授が、それぞれ受賞し、ひょっとしたら、今年のノーベル賞の可能性も示唆されています。この経済学分野について、Clarivateのサイトから引用すると以下の通りです。情報量はやや劣りますが、日本語のサイトもあります。

誠に不勉強にして、私は最初のおふたりのディッキー教授とフラー教授の単位根検定の業績しか知りません。最近書いたインバウンド消費や新型コロナウィルス感染症(COVID-19)の影響を分析した「訪日外国人客数およびインバウンド消費の決定要因の分析: VAR過程に基づく状態空間モデルの応用」でも時系列分析の単位根検定に引用したりしています。他の先生方の業績は、私よりもgoogleの方がよく知っていそうな気がします。私の予想は、政府財政の持続可能性について時系列分析の嚆矢となった "On the limitations of government borrowing: A framework for empirical testing" が有名なハミルトン教授とフレイビン教授なんて、どうでしょうか?
